My Fundraising Story : Cancer Research

Image
Throughout the month of September I challenged myself  to walk 10,000 steps a day. I was raising money for cancer research. About four years ago my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. I thought it was time that I gave back. This really opened my eyes to helping raise money to this fabulous charity that is close to my heart. I've always done charity work but this time it was special. if you would like to make a donation here is the link to do so..... JustGivingPage

Hairstyle Post: Lee Stafford Chopstick Styler Review!

Image
Today I'm going to be talking about this wonderful product... This is the Lee Stafford Chopstick Styler   . I saw this in Superdrug. I really wanted to try it as i'd seen so many amazing reviews on it. I have medium length hair. (Before i cut and ombre it) so it worked amazing on my hair. One thing i will say is that wear heat proof gloves as I've had multiple accidents with burns on myself. I've found if you take small sections of hair then it gives you that more voluminous vibe to your hair. When you do your roots its best if you have a deep parting as it will give it that effect. The Curls last for a long time aswell. One thing i will say is do not brush your hair otherwise you will have massive puffy hair. I use a afro comb to sometimes brush out the curls to make them look less like a poodle. Overall im super impressed with this purchase and it has been my go to curling wand.

Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb

Image
I love the lush bath bombs. I was very native not to try anything from lush because I was unsure how my skin would react as i have sensitive skin. This was the first bath bomb i'd every tried and it is called Intergalactic.   First of all can we just say about the name, It sounds so awesome and chic.  i cut the bath bomb open so i could show you the inside. Its super pretty on the inside, this bath bomb does contain glitter just a warning. It left my bath looking amazing with pink and yellow and purple everywhere within the bath. The smell of this bath bomb is quite fresh and just smells amazing. One thing is i will say i noticed that after about half an hour the blue dye was starting to stain my thighs but other than that i loved this bath bomb. It was become a staple in my bath bomb collection.. What are your fave bath bombs from lush? Leave in the comments down below Love  Lucy xoxo

Lush Bath Bomb: Lava Lamp review

Image
Today I'm going to be reviewing the Lava Lamp Bath Bomb from lush. These past few months I've started to really love the bath bombs from there. Before I used to be really put of by some of the scents. But then one day i just bite the bullet. So lets begin...... I was drew to this bath bomb by the name. When i was little i remember having a pink and purple lava lamp which i loved so much. The way i can describe this scent of this bath bomb is citrus and tangerine. It's  Made from a combination of orange flower absolute, tangerine and mandarin oils,  Lava Lamp  is a bright, refreshing and highly fruity creation. It made my skin super soft  after using it. As soon as i put it in the bath it started to put it into turn the water into a deep orange shade. The purple spots became deep blueish shades and was forming a circle across the water. The purple after a while made its way to the out side of the bath and left a blue stain. I did l...

All the products I'm going to be showing you are from the drugstore..... Base I find foundation the hardest to find. I like one for a everyday basics that sort of a full coverage and is going to last throughout my day. I'm quite fair so finding the right colour to match sometimes is proven difficult. At the beginning of this year I started to use the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation   in the shade True Ivory. I used to use th e Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation , only problem with this foundation was that i as a medium coverage but i used to wear it in the summer alot. For conceal I use the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer   in the shade Nude.   I Suffer pretty bad with black under eyes and i feel this does the job with t...
