A Tribute To Maria De Villota (1980-2013) (MotorSport Mayhem)

Last year on July 3 2013 Maria's life came close to almost being over, formula one car drove by itself into the back of a support truck while she was testing on an old runway in duxford for MarussiaShe went to hosptial and sadly lost her eye and suffrerd brain injuries.

Maria never stopped trying and when she recoverd she was given the all clear to climb back into an formula one car. maria was heavly involed in charity work and also got married in july to her boyfriend. Maria has spent time to write a book called ' The Gift Of Life' which will be realsed on Monday. She never gave up on her dreams but before the accident she said that she only saw her life as formula one but after the doctor remarkable saved her life she thoughts of different things in life. She was a member of the FIA's women's commission to get more women in formula one along side Michèle Mouton (Honorary Ambassador) Monisha Kaltenborn , Susie Wolff and Katherine Legge.

The news broke on the 11th of october 2013 that Maria De Villota was found dead her hotel room in seville spain. she died of subtained injuries from her crash last year. when the news broke in the Formula One paddock in japan the communtiy came close to support maria's family and by there messages about how much maria had an affect on there lives and the rest of the world. Susie wolff another women who in formula one was very close to maria and sent her deepest thoughts with marias family on this very sad time.

　

Maria was an inspiration to myself and many people across the world. she was passiontant to get more women into formula one and had so many hopes and dreams for the sport. maria's legancy will contuine no one will forget how much of an amazing women she was. she truly inspried me to never give up on my hopes and dreams and never give up because someday it will happen. Maria's legancy will live on from now until forever. she was just truly amazing and my deepest thoughts and prayers are with her family on this shocking time and i wish her family my deepest concerns.
